Detroit Jazz on the Plaz Philip A. Hart Plaza – Downtown Detroit Friday, August 12 – Sunday, August 14, 2011 Alex Bugnon, Straight Ahead and many more The 2011 “Jazz On The Plaz” will kick off the most anticipated Smooth Jazz weekend in 2011 and with a variety of music and events that include Art on the River, health information, a business expo, and of course great food. A variety of vendors will also be on hand with products that range from the useful to the unique.

Jazz On The Ave Concert Series in Dearborn Wednesday, July 13 – Wednesday, August 24, 2011 Dearborn City Hall Park (corner of Michigan Avenue at Schaefer 7:00 pm – 9pm Jazz it up as East Downtown Dearborn will again host a signature event on Wednesday evenings throughout the summer. The concerts are free of charge and open to the public. Bring lawn chairs or blankets and stake out a good spot for great music in the Park. Plenty of neighborhood restaurants will be open nearby too, so grab yourself some tasty carry-out and make it a picnic dinner before the show! In the event of inclement weather, the concerts will be moved inside the Arab American National Museum located directly across the street from Dearborn City Hall at 13624 Michigan Avenue. Diana Krall The Colosseum at Caesars Windsor Friday, July 1, 2011 9 pm Canadian jazz sensation, Diana Krall, live on the Colosseum stage.
